Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Ridge Mavericks Soccer Club to provide a positive player development experience for each of our athletes so they can approach her or his physical potential.  We strive to promote good sportsmanship and develop technical, tactical, physical, and psychological components of the game at age appropriate levels.  It is our desire to develop skillful players who display a passion for the game and above all love the sport of soccer.

The Ridge Mavericks Soccer Club believes:

Children should have fun.

Children, parents, coaches, opponents, referees, and spectators should be treated with respect and dignity.  Sportsmanship is essential.

A successful player develops both individual as well as team skills. Our program integrates the concepts of good sportsmanship, self-control, self-esteem, integrity, leadership, character, commitment to teamwork and team spirit.

Children learn, develop, and mature in different ways; we have a responsibility to help all our athletes maximize their potential.

We must provide quality leadership, mentoring and role-modeling for our children.

We should instill a sound work ethic and sense of responsibility in our athletes and foster a spirit of contribution in giving back to our community.

Winning is important, but we honor the effort of our athletes over the outcome of a game or season.
